I know that most of you out there are experts and hardened MMORPG players. However for those of you aren't here is a little tip.

Even if gathering skills don't interest you pick up either scavenging or butchering. This way you can effectively double loot either monsters or bad guy bodies for an extra sale at the merchant when you get back to camp.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away a man bought a sniper rifle from a trader on Nar Shadaar (Hutt planet). This character was a bounty hunter and features in other posts I've made. Well he was happy with his purchase, which at the time was described as 'a sniper rifle'. Anyway he went about his nasty business for months without any problem.

Anyone else playing a Warrior priest. Im at LvL 14 now and things are starting to get good.

Now a few questions.

1) Double handed Hammmer or Single Hammer and Prayer Book

2) Path of Wrath/Salvation or grace. Currently i am wrath, will i loose points in respecialising ?

3) im salvaging alot, but dont know what to do with the whisps or whatever, currently selling them

4) I bought a banner, can we use guild banners yet

5) Can we do some guild RVR ?

So the aptly abbreviated WAR comes out on Thursday and there has apparently been much drooling over this new MMO. Set in the popular world of warhammer fantasy battle this new game takes on the big task of translating the table top favourite to the world of the megaweb. There definitely is lots of room for fighting and many character types to draw upon, but will it be a faithful product?

More importantly can it dent the mithril armour of WOW?

If anyone has the beta or gets it early ...

Now we've all heard that this new edition of the classic game has been released, but has anyone actually played it?

As far as I can see the designers are hoping to add a mmorpg flavour to the old formula as well as a very grid/square based combat system. I know many have slated it for these changes, but a lot of people slated 3rd Ed and that was a success. I hope there are some bold adventurers out there that are taking on this challenge. Not long until our favourite post-apocolyptic-mutant-frenzy-vault-dwelling world reappears.

The question is, are you going to get it for the PC (yay!) or the XBox360 (boo!)? I have a feeling the gameplay will be vastly superior on the PC.

Consoles should stick to racing, football and fighting games. It makes it easier for the writers of Zoo and Nuts to understand; they'll probably look at the title and think it's a game about losing your hair.

I always enjoyed a bit of Star Wars for feats of heroism.

For some reason I can't remember we were playing the d20 version and in one particular game my character managed to evade the security on coruscant for a bit too long and I think my GM got a bit miffed. Before I knew it twelve (it may have been fifteen - whatever it was it was overkill) A-wings had been launched to take out my troublesome bounty hunter.
